Our Pilates Sessions
Clinical Pilates Initial Consultation
The private 55 minute Initial Consultation for Pilates includes detailed assessments for postural analysis, muscle testing, balance, biomechanics, and coordination.
The consultation also includes a record of medical, health and fitness history and any current symptoms.
After your Initial Consultation, you will be notified as to which Pilates session is best for your goals. The Clinical Pilates programs may be 55 minutes or 45 minutes duration.
Our Clinical Pilates programs include studio apparatus and matwork exercises, to support healthy movement, create core stability, improve posture and enhance body awareness.
Our Clinical Pilates programs include a complimentary home program to support your personalised studio program. We offer ongoing communication and feedback during your program as our goal is to promote healthy and functional movement in everyday life.
Studio Fitness Pilates
Our Semi Private Pilates sessions in the studio at Mandurah Health are 55 minute sessions that include the opportunity for dedicated Pilates practice with only 2-3 students per group.
Each session is tailored to your personal program and enables students to boost their fitness in a supportive and private studio environment.
Semi Private Pilates sessions are a great opportunity to work out with your partner or friend, and support each other’s fitness goals.
This series includes 45 minute private studio sessions tailored to support fitness and overall wellbeing during Pregnancy.
Pilates during Pregnancy should be guided by a certified Prenatal Pilates Instructor, and we request that before attending Prenatal Pilates, you check with your Medical Practitioner to ensure this exercise is suitable for you.
Our Pilates team will guide you through each stage of exercise during this special time.
Post Natal Pilates
The 45 minute private Post Natal Pilates sessions are low impact, with a special focus on core stability, and postnatal abdominal and pelvic floor function.
Specific exercises are included to incorporate stretching to relieve muscular tightness and light strength work is introduced when appropriate. In a supportive, supervised and calm environment, Post Natal Pilates sessions are designed to create a space to progress at your own pace.

Educational workshops are available in our Online Studio and are designed to support musculoskeletal health, balance, coordination and strength.
All visitors to the Mandurah Health Pilates Room attend an Initial Consultation to complete a health and medical screening questionnaire, muscle testing and movement assessment. This ensures that we are able to assess whether there are any:
- Biomechanic faults
- Postural issues, and
- Musculoskeletal imbalances that may contribute to pain, injury or limitations in mobility.
At this consultation, we will discuss your individual medical history and personal goals in commencing a Pilates program.
Additional feedback and support from our Chiropractors may apply for Mandurah Health patients.
Injury Rehabilitation Exercises
In addition to your Studio Pilates class, you may be given personalised home exercises to support your studio exercise program.
We work closely with the Chiropractic team at Mandurah Health to ensure that our Chiropractic clients are also able to benefit from our rehabilitative Pilates exercises.
