Today we are going to set a new goal! Did you know that approximately 80% of 5 – 17 year olds are not active enough?

​Also, 70% of them spend more than 2 hours a day in front of a screen? Get Your Family Moving:

Inactive kids are more likely to become inactive adults!
Toddlers should be physically active every day for at least 3 hours on average.
Children and teenagers should have moderate to vigorous intensity activity every day for at least 60 minutes.
Active kids have better self-confidence and better concentration levels.
Active kids have stronger muscles and bones.
Tips For Getting Your Family Active
Walk or cycle to school with your kids once or twice a week.
Do you live too far from school? Park the car a 10 minute walk from the school.
Limit the time your family watches television.
Plan family activities that involve walking, cycling, and running, etc.
